Transatlantic Translation & Tours specializes in German/English translation and interpretation, English language text and style editing, and personal guided Berlin tours.


These services developed naturally out of Wendy Kloke's extensive education and practical experience in the fields of German-American and German-Jewish relations. She is certified as a guide by the Association of Berlin City Guides ("Verband der Berliner Stadtführer / Berlin Guide e.V.").


Wendy is a 30-something Los Angeles native who enjoys building intercultural bridges as a Berlin city guide, translator and interpreter, text editor, and freelance author. A graduate of U.C.L.A., Wendy also holds an M.A. in Modern German Literature and American Studies from Berlin's Humboldt University. After interning in the German Parliament, Wendy helped The American Jewish Commitee open and establish its Berlin Office as its Assistant Director. A member of the Berlin Jewish Community and founder of Transatlantic Translation & Tours, Wendy has lived in Berlin since 1995. 		wendy
